We are always looking for ways to make biking on a car-free Lake Shore Drive even more fun! Here is what’s new in 2010.
Helmet rental
Bike and Roll Chicago, the official bicycle rental company for MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive, is offering participants discounts on bike rentals. Rentals include a bike, helmet, lock and riding map. Helmets – which are required for the event – are also available for rental or for purchase. Find details here.
Getting your packet has never been more convenient!

Twist and shout at the post-ride festival
American English returns by popular demand! This Beatles tribute band was a hit at 2008’s event and we are ready for them again. Stop by the post-ride festival for some breakfast, music and giveaways.

Tandem pilots
We want to make sure anyone and everyone can enjoy hours of a car-free Lake Shore Drive. If you are visually impaired and are considering bringing along another person to pilot a tandem bicycle, let them know that they do not need to register. Snazzy Ride Competition
Put together a team of 10-25 adults and enter our contest to win free 2011 MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive registrations for the entire team! The MB Financial Bank Bike the Drive Snazzy Ride contest wants to see what kind of themes, costumes and creative ideas you can bring onto a car-free Lake Shore Drive. Click here to register now!
